Question about LG RUMOR Cellular Phone
It seems that everyone's either seeing gray lines or the white screen of death. I've only had this phone for a couple of months now, and I'm already having problems this large.... It makes me wonder how long LG spent working out the bugs before they released this phone to the market. I'm a pretty dedicated guy when it comes to brand-names--if it works well, I'll stick to it, if I have problems with it, I move onto the next. I won't be taking my phone back for repairs--or replacement. I just don't see the point. If it's gonna break this quickly from new then it stands to reason it's gonna break just as quickly from the repair-date. Junk is junk, after all, and the sooner I own the fact that I spent a hundred bucks of my hard earned on a piece of junk, the sooner I can buy a phone (without the LG logo on it, I might add) that actually works. Fingers crossed on the next brand ... wish me luck.

Hi This is Jon at The Cell Phone Guy in Sioux Falls SD i spend most of my days doing cell phone repairs for a living. Your issue sounds like a very common problem and not to sound like im standing up for LG but its a very common problem for all manufactures. It sounds like its whats known as the "Flex Cable". Its a simple repair i see it all the time. The Flex Cable is the connection between your screen and your board of the phone. That issue is a fairly simple fix just that one piece should be all it needs to be replaced unless there is some other extensive damage. If theres any questions id love to help feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and if you want to call Im working every day at The Cell Phone Guy (605) 335-0411
