Lcd covered in water, semi circles at bottom of screen

Thankyou for quick reply ,Sorry insurance company got me in a state forgot to mention actual cause that was water ;

Children desided to use tv as target practice ,the result was 3 dark semicircles at the bottom of screen, Biggest battle now is ,even though the tv is only 3 yrs old and in excellent working condition before the incident the insurance companys tv repair guy is saying water cannot cause this problem and has now frustratingly put fault down to component failure .Is there any explanation how a sealed LCD unit can be effected in this way . Thanks

Could be pressure damage from objects at it, hard to say, usually the glass would have spider cracks around each presure spots, but LCD is soft so the pressure damage explains what happened.
If the spots are near the bottom the liquid may have crept upward from the edge , try a hair dryer on a spot and see if it changes indicating liquid is still in there.

I have three black circles, and some color streaking at he bottom inch of my RCA, LCD tv

that is usually caused by cleaning the screen with windex the windex runs down the screen bewteen the screen and plastic frame and actually seeps inside between the screen layers. Eventually it may go away by itself if the circles are not too bad but in most cases the damage is permanent. It can also be an issue called screen delamination which there is no fix for.

Water damage

Remove the battery and let the unit sit for a day or two. It takes a lot longer to dry out than it seems. If it doesn't work after that amount of time, the water probably did permanent damage. The cell company's regular warranty covers defects, but their premium insurance should cover even water damage. If they don't cover it at all, the repair cost probably isn't worth it if you can get a deal on a new phone. Definitely worth a shot to call or stop in your cell company's physical store and chat them up.

Broken Screen, Sanyo DP42647

If the LCD panel has broken and the tv is not covered by accidental damage repair insurance, then your only realistic option is to sell your tv as a spare parts donor and to buy another.

The LCD panel is overwhelmingly the single most expensive component of your tv; it actually costs more to buy a new panel than it does to replace the complete tv. If you do have insurance cover the company will usually just buy you an equivalent replacement model rather than repair yours.

Sorry, but not everything is realistically fixable.

I can see a semi circle on my screen

If you see a white outline of a semi circle it is a pressure mark caused by something pressing down on that part of the screen. Nothing can be done except to replace the LCD if it bothers you. Good Luck!

Broken inside screen for samsung

You've broken the plasma screen itself and the fix is to replace it. Unfortunately, it's the single most expensive part of the entire tv by a long way (effectively you buy the screen at a discount and get everything else thrown in for free), and it often costs more to buy the screen than a complete new tv

Unfortunately your only practical fix is to replace the entire tv and to avoid throwing anything against the fragile screen in future. LCD screens are more robust than plasma and also don't suffer the screen burn-in problems which you often get if using a plasma tv with a gaming console. If you choose to go LCD next time, then still avoid allowing anything or anyone to touch the screen unnecessarily. Both plasma and LCD screens are far more fragile than the old glass cathode ray tube tv's.

There are no warranties which will cover this kind of damage, but it may be covered if you have home contents insurance with accidental damage cover if the ball hit the screen accidentally. If you tell the insurer that the ball was thrown deliberately then it's not an accident and will not be covered.

Sorry there's no quick or cheap fix, but I hope that my reply has still been of use. Please take a moment to rate my answer.

Dark circle at bottom of lcd toshiba 32" tv after water on front

If they used it as taget practice, then the dark semicircles at the bottom of screen is most likely a crack in the screen, the screen would need to be replaced. not worth the fix. the only other time i see circles on the screen is if the screen has failed

Fitting instuctions for replacing lcd screen on my samsung e250 mobile phone

ok...
1.take off battery cover, remove battery, memory card and sim card
2. remove the five screws on the back... two at the bottom, two in the middle and one on the mid top right and take off this cover, remember! keep the screws safe
3. slide the phone up and take out the two screws on the left and right paralel with the battery tabs then remove the two screws ether side of the camera...they might be covered by rubber coverings, these pop out easily
4.now you can prise the top of the screen off with a small flat headed screwdriver
THERE ARE TWO OPTIONS HERE, IF THE REPLACEMENT SCREEN HAS NO RIBBON CABBLE ATTACHED THEN FOLLOW FROM FIVE, IF IT HAS ONE CONNECTED THEN FOLLOW FROM
5. its conected to a ribbon cable, remove the tape and slide out the cabble from the screen.
6. now take out the screen PCB from the plastic casing and replace it with your new one and put the ribbon cable in and clip it back together, now reverse stages 3 to 1 to put it back together.
7. if the ribbon cable is attached now you must look at the PCB board on the back for a square copper line, on the left of this there is a big black square just smaller than the copper square, prise this off with your finger nails, keeping it to the side take the PCB up about 2mm and then fold the bottom of it to revele it is conected to a ribbon cable by a bigger version of the black square so prise this off and take the PCB and put it safely to one side.
8. look on the front of the phone under the top bit of the screen, there should be a semi circle in the plastic with a black circle in the top of it, use your nail or a flat headed screwdriver to pop it to the other side of the semi circle, now the slider should go past what it used to o you can slide it up to when you can see the ribbon cable go down through the phone, now push the black square end through and you should be able to slide the whole front off.
9. replace the screen by taking the screen PCB out and repacing it, then thread the ribbon cable back through and slide the front on while making sure the back circle goes into the semi circle and to the top side of it, then thread the black square through the phone to the front and clip the phone front back on.
10. snap the black square back on to the back Circuit then put the circuit back into the phone and snap the small black square back on then go from stages 3 to 1 to put it back together.
this should be fairly easy to do for most people.
