This is because of the improper configuration of the access point. so you make a request the service provider to send the settings and store the same in the phone then restart it to get the things done

open Command Prompt, type 'ipconfig/all' and hit Enter. Check Default Gateway, it should be your IP address.

If you are still unable to browse the Internet, ping your router's connection to the PC. Open Command Prompt, type 'ping 192.168.0.1', hit Enter. If your PC is receiving connection from your router device, you will see a message like Reply from 192.168.0.1: bytes etc. If there is no connection, you may see the Request timed out message.

The Request timed out error can occur due to two things: (1). incorrect physical connection between your router device and the PC or (2) incorrect wireless network setup & configuration. Recheck and correct the Ethernet connection between your PC and the router device.

How do I get rid of error 404 on my ipod touch?

Hi, The 404 or Not Found error message is a HTTP standard response code indicating that the client was able to communicate with the server but either the server could not find what was requested, or it was configured not to fulfill the request and not reveal the reason why. 404 errors should not be confused with "server not found" or similar errors, in which a connection to the destination server cannot be made at all.

error 404 comes most times when the client ison able to connect to the server...or the site is not accessible..

Not really a problem with your ipod, but with your internet browser...

Take care.

I am at a hotel and I cannot connect to the internet. The message says bad request http 400

bad request http 400 simply means that the receiving host could not understand your request.

Look at: http://www.getnetgoing.com/HTTP-400.html for a series of errors that could cause it.

TomTom One V3 - Problem connecting to TomTom Home

I have the same problem in NL.. TT Home has problems downloading over Wireless connections.
Try connecting the computer to the internet via a cable. You may have to restart TTHome or maybe even your PC. The download should be quicker and more reliable :)

The problem is related to the MTU size and working around that can be very technical.

Internet explorer 6

Contact to your internet service provider, since it may be the problem with the internet connection with your PC.
Also try to find out the reply with Ping command, simply put in run box:
ping www.yahoo.com -t
This command runs in CMD, if Request Time out or General failure comeup then internet connection need to check.. otherwise you need to do a System restore... as might be the case of corrupt Window.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
