Re: Kenmore Not cooling
There are 2 common problems with this frig. one is the defrost timer getting stuck in defrost. in this case all lights will work but no fans and no compressor running. the other problem is the relay overload on the side of the compressor but if this is bad the fan inside the freezer will be running. sounds like defrost timer

The freezer part is working but the refrigerator part is leaking water from the left side upper corner .there is like a vent from, where the water is leaking and the refrigerator side is not cooling any hint or advice will be appreciated thanks
Did you use a lot of water out of the dispenser before this happened? There is nothing fancy to how these water coolers cool- there is simply a reservoir in the fridge section (usually behind the produce drawers) to keep the water cool. The only way the water would not be cool is if you a) just hooked up the water line b) used a large amount of water out of the dispenser in a short period of time or c) your refrig is not cold- which would be an entirely different problem. Try waiting a day or two before you try it again.
look for a door/light switch, and depress it do the lights go out?? bad switch will keep the lights on and melt plastic lens covers.. could also be nothing and you happened to open open the door right as a defrost cycle was completing( there is a heating elemnt in your freezer) watch your dairy, ice cream nad milk are real good indicators of refrigeration issues. as far as runnig all the time no real" time limit" as to how long it should be running.
