Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5300 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Color I have a kodak 5300 and the photos come out mostly blue. I've try"d to calibrate and align but doesn't help

Printer clolour catridge USE RGB (red blue Green clours) to print a coloured picture it seems that u have used Red and Green colours of your catridge refillit or replace it it will solve your problem suyyam@gmail.com

Printer will not print black ink


Seems to be a common fault with Kodak EasyShare 5100/5300

Contact Kodak Support and go though the following tests:

Remove and re-seat Printer Cartridge(s) - Done

Clean Printhead - Done

Calibrate Printer - Test Sheet Not Complete!

Run Computer Colour Test - Done

They will then send you a new Print Head.

Your printhead has failed. Call kodak for a new one. They are aware of the problem.

Printer will only print in purple/pink,enstalled new colour cartridge configured as required,still no change. help thank you


Print out a calibration sheet, either from the menu, or press photo and cancel at the same time. Your calibration sheet is probably missing a color. You should have black, blue, yellow, and magenta(pink). If you're missing any of these colors, your printhead is clogged. Try doing a printhead cleaning. Print another calibration sheet, if the color is still missing, you need a new printhead. Call Kodak.

Kodak 5300 Series not a year old


try to do this first, try first to upgrade the firmware of your printer, by clicking help in your kodak AIO Home Center, then under General Links, click on maintenance, then under maintenance, click on firmware upgrade.

after the upgrade is complete, try to remove and then reseat both the ink cartridges. then calibrate your printer. and then clean the printhead deep clean. then print a demo page to see if there is any improvement in your printout.

Color is all wrong


Your pictures are coming out with a blue tint. Remove the color catridge and look at the bottom of it. the Yellow is probably green. If it isn't, trying performing a printhead cleaning through your home center. After that, calibrate the printer, you may see that on the calibration sheet, that colors are missing. Scan the calibration page and then try your printing your pictures. If that doesn't work, contact kodak tech support, you need a new printhead.

Poor color on home printed photos


hmm..no blue, eh? that means that one of your print head cartidge lines is clogged. Sounds like time for a new cartridge tray, which you can access through www.kodak.com

My kodak easyshare5300 is printing black picture


Hi-

If your product is still within the warranty period from KOdak then you can call them up for some step by step troubleshooting to help you with your problem and as well they can replace the printer if defective.

Try this first

Calibrate your printer, then print a demo sheet.
  1. If paper is in the photo paper tray, remove it.
  2. Load photo paper into the photo tray.
    1. Fan the paper to keep the sheets from sticking together. IMPORTANT: Do not overload the photo tray.
    2. Load a maximum of 20 sheets into the photo tray, with the Kodak logo facing up.
    3. Engage the photo tray by pushing it in until it stops. p289_0006aa.jpg
  3. Calibrate your printer.
    1. Press Menu.
    2. Select Calibrate Printer, then press Start.
    3. Wait for your printer to print the calibration sheet.
    4. Place the calibration sheet face down on the scanner glass.
      • For the 5300 AiO printer, place the sheet on the front right corner of the scanner glass.
      • For the 5500 AiO printer, place the sheet on the left rear corner of the scanner glass.
    5. Press Start.
    6. Wait until "Calibration complete. Remove calibration page from scanner glass. Press OK to continue." appears on the LCD display.
    7. Remove the calibration sheet from the scanner glass, then press OK.
  4. Print a demo sheet.
    1. Disengage the photo tray by sliding it towards you until it stops. When the photo tray is disengaged, the main tray is active.
    2. Select Print Demo Page, then press Start.
    3. Wait for the demo sheet to print.

Had a problem like this and contacted Kodak and they sent me a new print head. Solved the problem.
