Question about Maytag Neptune MDE5500AY Electric Dryer
First the the belt underneath.it may be partially broken, causing the noise. if belt is good, you will need to remove drum to inspect the problem. remove top lid (screws at lint filter too). pop top off and remove front panel screws, unplug switches. drum felt ring may be worn or something stuck in it
