SOURCE: Armitron Pro Sport Watch Hourly Chime
Based on insructions for another watch, I just figured this one out. The steps would be:
Get in Alarm mode (press mode button)
Then you can cycle through the following by pressing the ST/STP button
1. Alarm on
2. Chiime on
3. Alarm and Chime on
4. Alarm and Chime off
You can see this with a magnifying glass and watch the center and right hand circular icons at the top of the display.get highlighted.
SOURCE: How to set an Armitron WR330 Watch
he following labels are on the inner ring of the watch; I've given
their positions relative to where numbers would be on the face of an
analog watch.
"ST/STP" is at 2:00; "EL" is at 4:00; "MODE" is at 8:00; and "ADJ" is at 10:00.
To set the time, date, and day of week:
Press and hold in the "MODE" button until the display starts flashing. (This is the alarm time.)
Press the "MODE" button again; the seconds begin flashing. Press "ADJ" to set them to zero.
Press the ""ST/STP" button to change what you want to set. The
options appear in this order each time you press the "ST/STP" button:
minutes, hour, month, day, day of week.
Use the "ADJ" button to change the value of the setting.
Touch "MODE" to save the settings and return to time mode.
The website listed below has many instruction sheets, but does NOT have instructions for this watch as of 25 December 2008.

SOURCE: I need a users guide/manual for my Armitron 40/8253 All-Sport watch
Just bought an Armitron 40/8249 (4) button sports watch that uses movement MD 0699. Following instructions to turn off hourly chime did not work. Called 800 # and they sent pdf (poor copy) of SAME instruction sheet included with watch. They were no help. Finally I determined Button C and D are marked wrong (reversed.) If you follow instructions and understand button D as UPPER right, not lower right, everything works fine. Customer service could not tell me that. Watch is nice for $10 at Walmart
