Does this occur on every input? If you try the radio, the CD, everything? If so, does the screen display that it is playing properly? When you adjust the volume does the screen show the fact that it should be changing? If so then it sounds like either the speakers have been disconnected, or that the amplifier that actually powers the speakers has failed. Double check the speaker connection to the back / side of the player and if it is connected then shut down the player, then unplug it from the wall for a good 2 minutes. Plug it back in and try again. If it still doesn't work then the amplifier as failed and you will want to look into a warranty replacement if you think it's still under warranty, or probably replacing the unit.

Of course also make sure MUTE is turned off

Thanks

Tim

I have a cx-366ce cb cannot hear talking what is wrong

Is squelch turned too high that it is blocking too many signals?
Otherwise, it could be a faulty cable on the mic as the PTT button disconnects the speaker on the CB and a broken wire can cause the speaker to be disconnected.

My Mazda CX-9 window will not go up

You will most likely need to replace a part called the window regulator, it is the mechanism that moves the window. As it is a fairly complicated job to replace the regulator have my guess confirmed by a trusted repair shop or the dealer.

Help! no bass sound, low volume

You might want to try using a different size of the earpieces that come with it, and make sure they're inserted fully into your ear. They come with three different size earpieces because people's ears are shaped differently, and having the right size can make a HUGE difference in the sound. If it's done right, it should basically feel like you've just inserted an earplug into your ear.

If that doesn't help, and you've tried another pair of headphones to verify that it's not a problem with your sound source, I would guess you were unlucky enough to get a defective pair.

Can't get any sound

No, it doesn't need infrared headphones, but it does need to have all audio connection made properly. There is a controller that this was designed to use, model number CY-VM1500. That controller has speaker outputs on it, and the CX-DV1500 must have the RCA audio output jack (red and white rca jacks) connected to the RCA audio input jacks of the CX-DV1500

if you have found this to be helpful, a good rating would be appreciated. Let me know if you require any further help.

You can find the instruction manual at this url:
