Thank you. I'm sorry, I should have told you that we have already checked both the drain and the pipes under the sink. (The sink drains fine).

Our manual told us to look for the "knockout plug" in the "food waste disposer inlet.) But we can't find either the plug or the inlet . . . (the manual doesn't show a picture).

    Thanks.

Oh dear, sounds like a clogged up drainage system. The first thing you will want to do is feel around at the drain on the bottom of the washer. Many times things like plastic and onions can get trapped down in there and clog it up. Also, check under the sink where the connections from the washer go to the pipe system. Inspect it to make sure it doesnt look like it's tweaked / twisted. Does the water drain fine in your sink?

Most of the time it's something like saran wrap stuck in the drain, give that a shot!

Frigidaire FRS20ZRG Ice is collecting in the bottom of freezer

sounds like the drain is blocked, melt out the ice with a hair dryer until you can remove the bottom bin or draw, and remove the second drawer or bin, look at the inside back wall of the freezer and follow it down to the bottom,if you can't see the drain hole you'll have to remove the wall to get at the drain, slime and food gets stuck in the drain and when the machine defrosts the ice that melts off of the evap coil turns to water and it goes down the drain and down into the pan where it evaporates from the heat of the compressor and condenser but when the drain gets blocked the water has nowhere to go but onto the floor of the freezer and eventually onto the kitchen floor,i use a steemer to blow out the drain hose if you don't have one melt out as much ice that you can and pour hot water into the hole, with something like a turkey baster or anything that will push through the drain will work, when you think it's clear pour more hot water into the drain,if it goes down you're done if not keep at it until the water drains through.hope this helps

Water leaking

the bottom tray/salad compartment will always get a fair amount of condensation because they are glossy plastic(bathroom paint is matt)the only "cure" is kitchen towel under the tray and remove once a week.as for the drain it is normally at the back and does collect a fair amount of "moss"in the tube, pour some clorine bleach down to clear any out.the design of the shelves directs the side/back condensation down the drain.

My kenmore is leaking water once a day .

You didn't say from where. Usually twice a day your de-ice heating coils come on and melt any ice that has accumulated. this water usually runs down the back of the ref. and collects in a small pan under the ref. Someime ice form around the hole that the water drains down through to go into the small pan. so then when the deicer comes on the water just runs down the bottom of the ref and onto the floor. My Kenmore does the same thing. Remove everything from the bottom of the Freezer look in the back at the bottom see if hole is clogged with ice. Remove ice then pour hot water down hole check occasionally.

Water collecting in the bottom tray and, at time, pouring out

The condensate drain is probably plugged w/dirt. You have to blow out the drain w/ some pressure to clear the drain.

Ice collects in bottom of freezer

Heya Johnpc,
The best way to check the fan is to open the door and to push in the door switch wait about thirty seconds and you should be able to hear the fan run. If you cannot hear the fan the chances are you should call domestic refrigeration tech out.

Another thing that also makes water gather in the freezer is the freezer door seal is old and not sealing correctly.

Is the freezer working all right still?
