SOURCE: the water does not stop

If the machine is not over filling, your drain hose may be too low, allowing water to run out of the machine, otherwise, if the machine is indeed over filling, it is most likely that the pressure switch is bad, or the pressure switch hose is damaged or came off of the switch itself. You can check to see if the pressure hose is still attached by opening the top control panel, taking the pressure hose off the switch, and blowing into the hose, if you have air resistance, and/or can hear the water bubbling in the machine, the hose connection is ok, the switch is most likely the problem. Of course, it's always best to just dismantle the whole machine and check it out, but I'd try that test first.

SOURCE: Bosch WFL 1660 Front end

After disconnecting the mains open up behind, it could be a shock absorber (damper) which is broken.

SOURCE: WE have bought a Bosch

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Very sorry but this forum is not able to supply any type of manual, installation instructions, electrical or schematic diagrams direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home and from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)
Also members on Fixya are not 'affiliated' to, or representative of, any manufacturer at all, just using their experience gained probably over many years, so-
Manual
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make model number) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount.
You could also try the manufacturer's web site direct ;-0)

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

My bosch front loader washing machine is does not finish a program. Instead, an E05 error code appears.

For Bosch washing machines, the E05 error indicates no water coming into the machine, the water being siphoned out of the machine as it enters or the water comes in too slowly. Do you hear the water coming into the washing machine? If you hear the water running in and draining out, check the height of the outflow tube. If it is below the water level in the washer, lift it up to stop the water being siphoned out.

If no water is entering the washer, make sure that the water supply shut-off valves are open. Next, check for kinks in the supply hoses. Turn off the shut-off valves and disconnect the supply hoses. Check if the filters are clogged on either the washing machine inlets or at the shut-off. Some supply hoses are designed to stop a flooding problem by restricting the flow if they are damaged. Try connecting the hoses to the shut-off valves. Then place a bucket under the hose, check the water flow rate by turning on the water to each hose individually. Alternatively, just replace the hoses.

If the inlet supply is fine but no water enters the machine, then the problem is probably with the washer's inlet valve opening and closing. You can test this with a multi-meter; most washers have a trouble-shooting sheet inside the machine (near the control board) which indicates the expected voltages and resistances. The valve will need to be replaced.

If water enters the washing machine without draining out, then the problem is with the sensor that determines the water level. Some machines use a pressure switch. In that case, the air tube can be clogged. That's often simple to blow out. Alternatively, the tube could be damaged. Sometimes the switch or sensor is faulty or the wiring could be damaged. In rare cases, the control board is not getting the correct signals.

Please add a comment with the model number of the washer, if you'd like me to search for a parts list or diagram. I hope this helps.

Bosch avantixx front loader leaking underneath machine? machine only 2 years old

  • You will find a small door on the front bottom of the washing machine.
  • Open it.
  • Unscrew the filter and rinse it with running water.
  • Put it back in place and repeat the above steps in reverse order.
This should solve your leakage problem.

Water tap closed? what does this mean

Water Inlet Flow Meter P/N 00602819 is failing.

For a Bosch Axxis Washer model WFR2460UC --

If both of the water supply valves are open, you cleaned the hose internal strainers, and there are no kinks in the hoses, part "Water Inlet Flow Meter P/N 00602819" is failing. This device measures exactly how much water enters the tub, no matter what the water pressure. Not hard to DIY replace with simple tools.

How do I winterize bosch front loader washing machine

Turn off the water supply to the washer, and disconnect the inlet hoses, remove the drain outlet hose and lay it down to drain any water in the hose.
Remove filter, and drain water off inside.
That should do it.
Hope this helps.

Water left in fabrish softener dispenser after wash cycle

My Frigidaire front loader was doing the same thing and also not taking the bleach. I could hear that the water pressure was not real strong when I turned the machine on. I removed the two small screens on the back of the machine where the water supply hoses attached, found they were partially clogged and cleaned them well. The bleach and softener dispensers are now working like new.
