Question about Fujitsu fi-5530C Scanner

1 Answer

All our data is scanned with a Fujitsu fi-5530C and is scanned to FileCabinet Solutions. We have lost the connection between the scanner and File Cabinet - how do we get it back?

A person with time and above average PC troubleshooting skill will able to search for these file.

These scanned image is date stamped.

It will help the troubleshoot a lot is you can recall the following

    Name of the scan project

approximate time you started the scan

approximate time the scanner cable disconnect.

With this time frame information. he/she will have a better chance to locate the image files.

Getting Error SA010771 for Fujitsu scanner when I press the Scan button

Found it! To fix the SA010771 error.
This assumes you have already sat there (like I did) and tried everything including adding the event in the scanner settings and changing 0 to ScandALL PRO)
Open Scandall Pro click SCAN - Batch Scan Settings - Add a new profile, for the moment just leave everything as is (change it later). Click Close then close ScandALL PRO and then reopen it.
Click TOOL - Preferences - Event tab, you should now be able to select Profile 1 (or whatever you named it) from the dropdown for Scan.
You can figure the rest out from there : )

Out of memory errors scanning greyscale on fujitshu 5750C

In what format are yopu scanning? If TIFF, then file size will be big and may require larger RAM. Try JPG format. It is wiser to increase the RAM also. BTW, do you have enough disk space for scanned data, if required remove unwanted files.

Multiple sheets

You can try to clean the retard pad under the feed roll, but for best results you should replace it. Parts are readily available on the web. You should spend around $20 for the pad, and $50 for the feed roll. You may not need the roll. Examine it and see how the tread looks. These parts are easy to replace.
