I have been trying for weeks to thread my 797 hobbylock Can any one help me
Do you have the manual? If not, there is a link online for your machine. If some of the 5? Thread cones are still threaded then cut the thread close to the spool and knot the new thread color on and use the drag to rethread. If you have no thread attached there is a particular order that you should follow as you thread each spool. They are color coded around your machine. A specialized set of tweezers with a really long reach is VERY helpful when trying to get in the really tight spaces. Now just in case...some folks don't have very good spatial ability. Reading flat diagrams and applying to an actual object can be challenging. If that is you... get someone that likes to tinker or the hubby of a sewist to help you out. And remember to never unthread your machine. Always cut and knot new thread to the old thread and let the machine feed it through for you! Good luck.
The hobbylocks all thread in much the same fashion. There is a diagram for a four thread hobbylock on this website. It would be better if you found a Pfaff dealer to show you as it is quite complicated.

Once you have it threaded, always cut the old threads at the spool and knot new ones on and pull through. You will have to thread the needles as the knots will not pass through but it does save an awful lot of frustration when needing new colours on the spools.
