These machines are notorious for this you have to remove the c developer unit and shake the hell out of it you need a trained tech to do this if you attempt it cover the toner hole and firmly shake the hell out of it if successful it will start to add cyan toner when you reassemble and turn it on it will probably add too much so you will need to keep running prints until it looks good or replace the c developer unit be aware shaking the unit will get toner all over so cover it with a rag good or you will have a big mess

You should just have to press the "GO" button to tell the printer that cleaning is complete and the printer will then carry on working once the toner has been added.

it seems very important to shake the toner before using your printer.
it is not too late
remove all toners and shake them well
you will find after a short time that the grey background goes away

refill...uh oh probably wouldnt try it..there's is like only 1 company that does kyocera refill toners.....call KATUN... you can try to find that on the internet..you most likely willl have to buy actuall kyocera toner..
