Not cold and ice on back of freezer
if the inside back wall of the freezer has frost or like snow on it you have a defrost problem, bad defrost thermostat, defrost heater or timer, open the fridge door and up where the lite is you'll see a hole, with a strait blade screw driver turn the timer slowly until it clicks and then open the freezer door,if the fan isn't blowing then you have it in defrost, remove all the food, shelves and back wall and ice maker and with a hair dryer melt out all the ice,on the top of the evap coil you'll see a thermostat with two wires going to it,most likely this is your problem because you have a calrod heater in this machine and they hardly go bad, shut down the machine or unplug it,cut the two wires close to the body of the thermostat, strip the ends of the two wires and tape them or wire nut them together bypassing the thermostat, turn the machine back on or plug it back in and with the timer in defrost you should hear a crackling sound, that's the heater getting hot and melting the ice, leave it on so the heater helps you melt out all the ice.also if you look at the top of the thermostat and if the top is popping up you can visually see that the t-stat is bad, water gets in it and freezes and buldges the top off, after you melt out all the ice, shut down the machine again or unplug it so you don't get a shock and install the new thermostat part number 12001937 and it's around 15 dollars, remove the old thermostat and put the new t-stat in the same spot the old one was in,put it back togehter, turn the timer until it clicks and it's out of defrost and you're all set.if it takes you a little longer to do this and it comes out of defrost while working on it reset it back into defrost until the job is down and then take it out of defrost when down.hope this helps and you'll save around 185 dollars by doing this your self.hope this helps and if you need any other help let me know, glad i could help salde.
