Question about Car Audio & Video
Your radio is locked at present and you have to re enter a security code to get the radio to work again.
You may find you have this security code somewhere in your service documentation or owners manuals if you have them. From the factory it is printed on a small card which often gets lost as the vehicle changes hands.
If you have lost this code you can only obtain the code from a dealer.
1) Remove the stereo and get the serial no that is stamped or printed on the back of it
2) Bring this serial along with your cars VIN identifier (Chassis no) to a Renault dealer who will run the numbers and give you the code you need to unlock the stereo.
There is usually only a small charge at the dealers for doing this and some dealers will not charge anything at all for this service.
Because your code is specific to both your stereo and your vehicle - this information is exclusively held by Renault - there is no other method of unlocking the code.
Hope this helps. Please remember to rate my answer. Many Thanks.
