Water won't heat. Outlet is good, enough water in kettle. NO reset button. Lid doesn't come off.

SOURCE: Where can I find a replacement lid for Cuisinart Kettle CJK-17BC?
You need to talk to Cuisinart (follow this link to their contact us page http://www.cuisinart.co.uk/contactus.asp?menuId=20)
There is no harm in asking. I have had replacement cooker nobs, bin lids allsorts by just being honest with message and asking nicely.
But if all else fails EBAY =P
SOURCE: The tea kettle stopped whistling...
I could be that you have some debris in the hole. Try running a pipe cleaner though it a few times and see if it helps.
SOURCE: water kettle does not boil water
I had the exact same problem. The kettle would warm water but not boil. I bet you have hard water - try putting 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water mix and turning it on. I did this, fixed the problem!
SOURCE: Kettle won't work after switching on with no water inside
It depends on how long you switched on.
*check to make sure that the switch is transmitting electricity if not...
*from my experience with kettles you will need a new element*Depending on the kind of kettle you are using check the power cable and the base of the kettle to make that there is contact between the kettle and the power cable.
