Why is my microwave dead?

Assuming you checked the main fuse (inside the case, near where the power cord enters), you might have a bad connection to the (main fuse) fuse holder. Sometimes these heat up and oxidize. Some thermal protectors operate seemingly backwards; in that they are normally open, and close when certain conditions occur (such as a fire in the cavity). Make sure all door switches actually function properly by checking them with an ohm meter. Although extremely rare, power cords sometimes fail.

Why is my samsung clp making a clicking noise?

Is the printer making a clicking sound when it is printing? Or is it just making a clicking sound but there are no light and the printer appears to be dead except making a clicking sound?

I know of a cause for either case.

Case 1. It is clicking when printing. Sometimes the toner cartridges are not seated properly in the imaging unit, and causes the gear on the cartridge to slip making a clicking sound as the gear is being turned. Try pulling out the cartridges and try turning the gear. It should turn smoothly without binding. If it binds, there is not much you can do about it except replace it when it goes empty. Reinsert the cartridge and check that it inserted completely into the imaging unit.

Case 2. Printer is dead, not printing except making a clicking sound. This is due to the power supply board failure. Usually the failure is due to a blown filter capacitor on the power supply board. The power supply is located on the right side of the printer. Remove the right side panel to get access to the board. The board can be either repaired or replaced. Hope this helps you.

Samsunb 4051: TV screen turns off sound stays on.

Most likely this set has an "integrated" inverter, as most samsungs do--and this DOES sound like an inverter problem. Make SURE thought, there are no more bad "10 volt" caps on the power supply...ALL of them need to be replaced no matter HOW they look.

Make sure that in the set-up, you do not have the feature turned on that makes a beep for each minute in use. This is a common cause.

Check the user guide for details.

Chaintech CT-7NJL6/Failure to boot

Sounds like a power supply problem although I have seen the same thing with a motherboard that is beginning to fail. Try a differtent powersupply, that would either fix the problem or eliminate it.

First of all greetings from Belize mike your set is an old set but you can still get some life out of it please be inform that going into a tv could cause you self injury if you are not qualified to handle an electronics set.the problem with your set is in the power supply there is a 10mf cap situated in the power supply just close a transistor replace it along with power requlator and associated diodes.that will solve your problem.but make checks in the power supply.if you cannot do it yourself take the set to tech.good luck.
