Check your lens position, perhaps not fully retracted?

Turn the power off and on again

Is it model with automatic cover of lens, like the DSC-T3 has? Problem is probably with lens cover. Try to move it (or help while it is trying to open/close) by your finger. It does sometimes if it is dirty (inside). I gues because you did not write the model name and number and on the picture is DSC-T1, but it has only 5.Mpix. If you have model with telescopic lens it is probably damaged gears of lens.

When I turn my Sony Cybershot 7.2 mega pixel camera on, the lens keeps going in and out and the message "Turn the Power on and off again" shows up on the LCD screen. When I turn the power off and on again,...

Error: TURN THE POWER OFF AND ON AGAIN is displayed on the LCD screen when the Lens Mechanism is stuck or when affected by any malfunction. If turning the power on and off again does not resolve the error message, try doing a power reset and Initialize option.

Performing a manual power reset

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.

To reset the Camera back to factory default, select the INITIALIZE Option from the SET UP1 Menu of the Camera to OK.This will set the user defined settings back to factory default. The images and videos will not get deleted.

If the issue persists, service may be required.

Sony cybershot 7.2 mega pixels suddenly stopped working, I can see the photos I have taken but can not take new photos, the disply read "Access" then says to power off and on again. I have...

Lens of camera is not being open properly, so it gives "access" message. Try this trick, while puching power up button, tapp the lens or pull upward. Please don't give much force as it can be damaged easily.
