Usually when these motors slow down, they get hot and burn out. You can try taking it off and cleaning with CLR, but normally when they stop working, they do not revive. I am not sure what the warranty policy is from Taco, or if Taco has a parts list.

Do they run at the same time? The two items consume a lot of power. Check the voltage when they are turned on. If the voltage is below 90 Volts. The power surge at your Taco is great. Then, the surge protector could not handle the current inrush that's why it's blown off. You must install a surge protector that can handle the Taco current inrush.
