Plug it in. Win7 should see it and attempt to find drivers for it. It may ask to search the Internet for them - let it work and it should install the basic drivers to get it to work. Other idea is to go to the company website and download the drivers/software and install manually.

The pen should unscrew like an old fountain pen... sometimes a little force is needed because they are machine tightened.

if you do not have an iphone you should have little use for this program which is a notoriously bad piece of software in windows.

i have the same problem and i think this tablet doesn't work with windows xp service pack 3, because when i had service pack 2 i used it and after the upgrade it seems broke.

You can buy it for $20.00 right off the genius site here. For $25.00 they also have an extra pen with holder.

Try putting a new battery in it. Mine was having the same sort of problems, and they were pretty much entirely fixed by a new battery.

If the indicator light is dead, then yes, but check with a local mac genius at an apple store if possible...

sounds like a short in the wiring. the usb cable i very flimsy and very prone to breaking. if you know what your doing you could open it up and TRY to fix it, but if its under warranty get a replacement. thats about all you can do bro. stupid companies and their cheap craftsmanship.

you can go to the prouct website. geniusnet.com and download the mac driver. there is a list of drivers for specific platforms that you can download and install. just get the driver for the mac and unzip and install it.
as for the pensuite, pop in the cd that the tablet came with and try instaling it separately and manually instead of auto install. when the main menu pops up only install the pensuite from the cd onto the mac... if that doesn't work mbie you can download the programe.if that doesn't work then i don't know... *smiles*
