Open your cpu cabinet . Remove dust from motherbord circuit. Pull RAM memory then refix it afdter clean dust from it. Aslo check heating event of chipset.
Reattach all connection to motherbord and harddisk.
Also open processor fan and then processsor then refix both.

what type of motherboard is it? how many beeps are you getting. each motherboard uses a series of beeps to determine what your underlying issue may be. i suggest you power unit on and see if you get three consecutive beeps, one beep, two or one long one. fill me in on what you have as far as motherboard and the status of the number of beeps and we can resolve your issue quickly.

When I switch on my dell 1535 Studio laptop with the power button and then either move the hinged screen or the laptop, there is a noise which sounds like the laptop is switching off. The screen freezes and I have to re-boot the laptop. Could there be a faulty connection between the power button and the motherboard? if so can I fix it myself???
