Question about HP Photosmart C5280 Printer
I have a C5280 printer about 2-3 years now. I was printing some rice papers when I had the error message. When I shuted down the printer, the paper that was supposed to be jamed came out alone. I tried to print once again and after the first print I had the same message. Repeating the same process with the shutting down fixes the problem for just one print .At the second I have the error.
REplaced the cartriges but still having the same problem. Now I just print one copy and then I print one copy and then I print one copy etc not so helpful.I have read the other jam problems and their solutions and tried them all but I can' t find the problem. Any suggestions? THanx
Sounds like a small piece of the jammed paper is stuck inside on a paper path switch OR in pulling out the jam you've dislocated a switch actuator so it is not working correctly. Careful checking of the paper path components should find it. Probably a slot in one of the guides is hiding it.
