While your iDog AMP'D is in "Listening Mode", hold down it's tail, and press it's nose. Make sure that you keep holding it's tail down the entire time, even after you pressed it's nose. You should see a spinning light pattern, that signifys that the motor movements are off. To turn them back on, either turn off/on your iDop AMP'D, or do the same thing but hold it's tail upwards. If your iDog AMP'D growls instead, that means it was not in "Listening Mode", and simply wait for it to start showing light patterns to music, then try again.

Hope this helped!

High rpm when idle and chugging

Check for loose motor mount and the front dog bone (motor mount)

A worn motor will make chugging sound.

Motion Won't Turn Off

The trick to this is to catch the dog while just playing the music and not while dancing. What this means is that his foot must be down and not moving. Very often he will pause dancing with his foot up, however this is considered "mid-cycle" and he will ignore his stop command. When his foot is down waggle the tail towards his rear. This will produce all but one light turning red and a little beep to indicate him ready for a command. While holding the tail push the nose button for about a second, not long enough to turn him off but more than a quick tap. If his foot is down and music is playing he should respond.

The dancing

manual says while dog is playing music thru the cable and lights are flashing.... to press down the tail and while holding down tail to press the nose, but on my dog it only works like 1 out of 30 tries. Supposed to see spinning lights if you did it right. If dog growls at you it is not in the right mode (music play) to do this function.
