Timing issue , mass air flow sensor , vacuum leaks , crank , cam sensor etc.... without test and just replacing part wouldn't be very intelligent . Your best bet would be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair technicians.

I have a 2001 Chevy Impala 3.4 liter I am getting feel and I am getting spark when I turn the vehicle over it backfires and will not start what could cause this

As unlikely as this may be, it may have jumped time. The engine has a timing chain, not a belt....but they can still fail (normally the chain tensioner). A compression check will tell the tale. If there is are multiple cylinders that have low compression, I would suspect the timing chain/tensioner. The backfiring along with the no-start is what makes this suspicious.

2001 Chevy Impala 3.4 I just replaced the fuel pump and now when I turn the vehicle over it backfires and will not start what would cause this

Why did you replace the fuel pump? Sounds like that might not have been the issue. Timing is what causes a back fire. The timing could be off from the crank sensor or it could be a lot of other things.

2001 Chevy Impala 3.4 liter what would cause my car to backfire and not start when I turn the engine over

A backfire is the result of a timing issue. Since this is a 6 cylinder motor, the likelihood of it having a timing belt is slim. Therefor if it has a lot of miles on it, the timing chain or gears are worn, the cam is bad, the valves are bad or it has a problem with the crankshaft sensor.
