I need to register my firestick to my account. I have tried several times on the tv and it says it is registered but when I try to watch something it says it isn't.

To register fire TV
-Select settings from fire TV menu
-Go to my account (if your device isn't registered, register option will appear. Select register and enter amazon account information when prompted)
The best way to do this is to use a Netflix app on your TV - if you have a SmartTV with apps. You can register the device by following the on screen setup instructions. If the TV is not a SmartTV you need a media device like Chrom Cast, Amazon Firestick, Roku etc. Or you can use a DVD / Blueray player with built in apps. Basic Netflix accounts allow you to stream on 2 devices at a time - so you should be able to do this easily.
How do you register a fire stick?
You can also view or change the account your device is registered to from the Settings menu:
Open Settings from the Home screen.
Go to My Account. If your device isn't registered, you'll see a Register option on this screen. Select Register and enter your Amazon account information when prompted.
You will need an email addressed not registers to them and a home phone number, they then ring you to confirm who u are, also believe u now may need a paypal account!
