These springs are in different variations. But most of the times, just press the spring (sometimes only on one side of the disk) and slide the disk out (or in).

This is the great advantage of these springs, you don't need a screwdriver any more.

Precautions: Turn of the pc and disconnect power.

How do you install the belt on clothes dryer

usually goes in a 'Z' type shape. around drum to around motor drive, then push spring loaded wheel towards motor drive and hook belt over that for tension. of course this is all done by feel for the most part because you cannot see well while trying to put it on. good luck

Spring came out

Possibly but it may well be more cost efficient to replace the DVD drive. Only held in with one screw.

How to remove hard drive from HP Pavilion a1243w

Hard drives in towers are easy to replace. Once you've opened the cabinet, the drive is held in place with screws or clips. If it's clips, you may just have to spring the front off to slide it out forwards, put the screws into the new drive and slide it back in otherwise just undo the screws, slide it out into the cabinet taking care not to pull any other plugs out then slide and fix the new one into place.
Of course, it's no use doing this if you don't have the recovery discs or a windows disc to re-install the operating system.

When the weather is hot and humid, our sub-zero seems to barely work. Freezer works fine, but the upper part is a joke.

the leading thing causing that is a dusty condenser coil. to clean that remove the grill above the refrig, and the white painted plate behind that and vacuum the coil on right side ,typically the grill is held on by springs and a either 1 screw in the center or 2 screws on the corners of the rim above the door, remove grill by opening refrig. door and remove screw tilt grill down and disattact springs

Good luck, i hope this helps

Where does the spring go on a tc2 model 8900 ice auger, we removed and replaced the carb and there is a small spring that looks like it attachest to the carb but where

it should be installed over the jet set screw, located near the bottom of the carberateur, or it might be the idle set screw, located on the side near the top, close to where the cable operates the throttle. This screw is usually held tightly by a spring, more so than the first place I mentioned, and after thinking about it, the jets are not held in place with a spring... with out pics and a model, it is almost impossible to really tell. I am just giving yo an educated gues... hopefully this is it.

The fusing unit on my konica minolta c250 seems to be loose and on further inspection one of the springs holding it in place has come off.. it is still held in place but may not be tight enough. Is this...

The fusing unit on the C250 is not held in with springs. There is a silver colored screw on each side towards the bottom of the fuser that holds it in. You might be talking about another part of the copier or an assembly attached to the fuser but not the fuser itself. Maybe a bit more detail would help so we can assist you further.
Thank You for using Fixya.

How to you remove the dvd drive on a hp compaq nc6320

It will be held in place by a single screw. This can either be on the bottom of the machine just behind the drive (towards the center of the base) or under the keyboard.

Once the screw is undone, turn the laptop on, hit eject on the drive so it pops open, turn off the laptop and fully extend the tray - once the screw is removed it should slide nicely out.

Removing current cd/dvd burner from tower to replace with new one can't seem to get it out.acer tower, not real smart with computers sorry

most CDRW drives are secured using 4 screws (2 on each side) which means you have to remove both side plates of the tower to remove the drive, sometimes manufacturers use rails which "clip" the drive in place and are removed via the front instead (sometimes having to remove a retaining screw).

after that the drive is only held in place by the connected cables.
