Question about Motorola Mobility i880 Cellular Phone
Turn fone on and internal screen says i880 with white back ground. after start up is complete open the fone half way and can see my main menu screen once opened all the way starts to fade away to all white screen
Actually, Motorola is aware of this problem and Nextel/Sprint is covering it at no cost, even if your phone is older than one year old. Be sure to take it to an Authorized Service Center of call 800.639.6111 and they can do a door-to-door service swap for you.

The 880 is known for display issues like yours and inverted screens. there is nothing to fix it as it's a software issue. you will have to take it back to sprint/nextel and have it replaced. if you have had it less than a year its covered by warranty or if you have tep insurance there will be no charge to replace it. if all else fails and you have had your phone for at least 22months than you can extend your contract and get a discount on a new phone. I suggest the I9.
