My LG 17" Monitor changes its color drastically

problem with the monitor Display cable. it is damaged.

Normally monitor will receive 3 colors red, green, Blue signals from CPU. If one cable i.e Red wire connection is missing in display cable which is connected to monitor, Red color image on monitor wil be replaced with other fade color.
So, need the replace the display cable or display connector!

Change your screen resolution to the highest setting first, in control panel, appearance/ themes. Next Push smart button on bottom right of monitor. Cinema mode should be highlighted hit autoset on monitor. Next hit the FUN button and highlight the 4:3 screen setting. This will expand your image to fit the screen without giving it that stretched and distorted appearance.

I'm not sure of what brand and/or model you have, but most have a maintenance mode to do color alignment.

it is very simple, by default in monitor circuit RGB (Red, Green, Blue) tube is installed. and in combination of both of three colors we are able to view colorful image. due to non functionalty of Red color u r not able to view red color in screen, either you replace picture tube or purchase new monitor. coz cost of this tube is equal to monitor.

Go to "Picture Boost" option in the "OSD window". Then turn on the "Bright Frame" option and after that make the "Frame Size" to 100. That's it now you can get a perfect sharp image...it worked for me.

hi there, its a decousing problem, look for the connection of the decousing which is connected behined the pic tube to the board. check some electronic parts, it may be temperature resistor, termistor, transistors, capacitor, etc.ty

Flyback transformers usually have 2 adjustable rods - 1 is for focus the other is for screen (G2) voltage. try turning Clockwise the Screen adjust with brightness-contrast at max. Till you see white diagonal lines, then go back until the lines disappear - then tune the brightness to your desired level.
