Sounds like you need to replace the valve cover gasket.
Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!
Yes it should be as the regular motor filter and thats what goes on your transmission and they were right about that and dont get shocked. Good luck bro
I believe it looks just like an engine oil filter and it spins on the transmission,I think you can see it from under the hood,I think the original from factory was red in color
OIY VAY!!! WACKY QUESTIONS,BUT, HERE I GO AGAIN! YOU KNOW WHERE THE DIPSTICK(NO NOT YOU,UH WELL..)FOR THE TRAMISSION FLUID LEVEL CHECK IS?(HOPE SO)WELL THATS WHERE YOU ADD FLUID!!! DAMN!! MY 5YR.OLD NEPHEW KNOWS THAT!!!
it could be the spark plugs, at least that is what it was for mine, if you have over 50k miles without a spark plug change i highly suggest one, also a oil /transmission change would be great for your car too if you haven't done those reciently. I would also suggest using a higher grade gas, sometimes this fixes the trick too.
If you try all those and still experiencing hard transitions please let me know and i'll try a more indepth analysis on your car.
Thanks jyotsna.
