Question about Samsung Televison & Video
If you are using Component inputs, check to make sure that the Blue Video Cable has not backed out of its connecting jack at either end or the cable it's self being bad.
If you are using HDMI I would suspect that the Digital Board being bad. It would be odd for the Color Wheel to cause the problem but cannot eliminate it as a cause. The Lamp would cause the picture to be darker but not cause a color to drop out.
I would call a professional to trouble shoot it unless you have the knowledge and the tools to do so.
There are very high voltage generated inside the TV.
Hope this helps

Check the easiest things first:
Do you have the source devices connected with component cables? If so, try removing them and reconnecting them at both the source and the TV. They may have either come lose, or they may have tried to connect them to the wrong inputs.
Lines appearing on the screen are usually the sign of a failing DMD board, the motherboard of the tv. You might want to try some component (red/green/blue) cables into the component input of the tv just to check and see if it's only the analog board going out, the yellow red white cables plug into and are for analog, the component plug into a digital board so the problem may go away. If you need a new board, check out www.VanceBaldwin.com

Are you able to locate the original invoice/paperwork of this Samsung LN82341WX/XXA HDTV?
This can be a direct import unit. NOT via the normal retail out.
LN is the correct series of flat screen TV. The rest of the number do not fall into the normal USA stock number.
If you want to try your luck on fixing the color board the the first thing is to get the unit clean up.
Remove the back cover and use compress air (INVERT THE CAN) and clean/chill one board at a time.
Test the TV and see which board is the trouble maker.
In some case, chilling the unit can reveal the part(s) in question.
If you have the time and compress air then give it a try.
Please post the invoice model number and RE-CHECK the model number on the back the unit.
I will append to this post after you provide me more infomation.
