SOURCE: I am getting static out of all speakers in my

Static could mean a few things.

Magnets on or near (tube TV's) the system could disrupt the signal.

Try plugging the speakers in one at a time with music going to the AUX in. Run through all your settings to make sure that nothing is abnormal.

If it's plugged into a powerstrip, try plugging it into your wall outlet.

201-762-6500 is their main number.

Can Isubstitute a car sub woofer to my home theater systerm

Probably. Most Car Subs Are 4 ohms. Most home subs are 8 ohms. If your amplifier is 4 ohm stable then yes. There will be no problem. Your kicker could have a model number something like c104. The last digit should be the ohms.

My home theater Denon subwoofer cuts off and performs inconsistently when in uses, what can I do address this issue?

First, check the cable going to it from the receiver to make sure it's not shorting out. While playing material that has consistent low frequencies, move the cable around starting at one end and working to the other. It could be a bad cable or there could be a jack (input on the sub or output on the receiver) that's bad, too. If that doesn't isolate the problem, take the sub to a repair facility - there may be a bad solder connection inside. Good luck!

Lack of true bass

LFE out may be selectable between subwoofer, main, or both. If it's set to subwoofer, then the front speakers won't get any low frequencies sent to them.

My SONY Home Theater Model HT-6600DP unit was working fine and then about tow years after...present, my sub woofer is sounding distorted. Why is this happening? Please help me as I often watch my home...

Is it so even at lower volumes?

Are you sure it's the sub distorting and not the front or center speakers?

If you designate them incorrectly as Large (which tells the receiver they CAN effectively produce bass frequencies) they will probably distort in the presence of low frequencies.

Bass not Very deep

250 watts rms seems a little low for a 12 inch woofer, a 500 or higher will likely fix your problem. Specific model numbers and the type of enclosure you have will allow a more specific answer.
