Question about Samsung 26.0 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator, RS265LABP
I noticed day before yesterday things on top shelf of refrigerator were a bit frozen on top.....changed setting to be a bit warmer.....didn't help; yesterday things were MORE frozen, so I tested to see if the thing would even turn OFF, which it did....so I turned it back on but at a 3.5 setting (off is zero; coldest is 6)....and it's still getting worse....temperature is down around 24 degrees.....is it done for? Or is there a simple fix?
Yor model if the model RS265LABP is very complex. It is very possible that the senser that feels the temperature in the fresh food section is defective. If you would like the manual to put the refrigerator into self diagnostics let me know. The diagnostics test for your model is done at the control panel and will tell you the problem. It will tell you the senser that is not working properly. But an easy fix for most people the test is simple but to go and repair the problem the answer is no easy fix. Sorry for the answer, Sea Breeze
