My samsung refrigerator model number RS267TD is freezing everything in the lower parts of the refrigertor and the upper part seems not as cold. Can U help?

You have a defrost problem. You'll need to give me a model number. However, if you can locate the defrost timer ,usually in fridge side upper part with the other controls you will advance ,turn wheel till it clicks into defrost. Then you will want to examine the defrost heater and the terminator if they are fine replace timer. If either check open with an ohm meter replace that part, most likely a defrost tube which is like a light bulb, it only take two more screws and plugging in two wires to replace abuot a hundred dollars for both the heater and terminator which I also recommend replacing.

it is possible that the circulating fan is knacked. cold air drops so the bottom of your fridge so will be alot colder than the top, especially since the air will no longer be circulating.

Call him back. He needs to check the sealed system.

I have a samsung refrigertor rs2555sl and my control panel stopped working after I turned the power off to the house (to install a light fixture elsewhere). There was one green light blinking on the refrigerator temp display.

Hold down the "power freeze" and "power cool" buttons at the same time for at least 8 seconds. This is a self diagnostic program. A number should appear on the refrigerator temp display (1-9)...it will hold for 30 seconds and then the panel should function again.

In my case the number that appeared was "3" which can indicate a multitude of things including a short circuit or power outage (which was it was for me).

sorry to be late with the reply, but Frigidare side by sides have a flapper valve between the freezer and refrigerator that breaks and the cold air enters the refrigerator unchecked. Remove the shroud in the upper part of the refrigerator and you should see it. Usually the flapper is broken off and layind down next to the duct.

Does you appliance have the custom cool controls ? If it does then there is another air damper in the custom cool unit at the bottom of the fridge compartment

Check your thermostat sitting try to lower the sitting, if it wont work your thermostat is defective.
