Question about Ryobi Garden
I have a Ryobi 725r and it's worked fine for years. I never really did any maintenance, but it's now giving me trouble. I replaced plug, cleaned filter, and replaced fuel lines. Now I prime it, pull 2-3 times until it almost starts, move choke from full choke to partial, and it starts nicely (just as it's supposed to), but only if I don't pull the throttle trigger. I move the choke to full open and it stays running, but if I pull the trigger more than a little, it starts to die. Release the trigger and it comes back to life, although just idling.
You need to adjust the high speed needle turn it out in 1/4 increments as you throttle it, low speed may have to come out alittle but do high speed first. I had to answer this as I use to have a pastor john in sturgeon bay, miss him alot.
