Your computer could either have:
* bad RAM -- causing "random" errors
* bad spots on the disk-drive -- information cannot be written, or, after successful writing, cannot be read from the disk.
Download a free RAM-testing program, e.g., 'MEMTEST86+' -- it can boot from your CD-drive, and run exhaustive tests of the RAM.
Or, replace the disk-drive, to see if that bypasses the problem.
You either have a failing hard drive or corrupted operating system. Since you don't have the Win 98 CDs, you won't be able to try to fix the operating system. It's tough. Hope you have backed up your data files.
The hard drive has either been damaged and can't be read, or its connection was knocked loose from the motherboard. Open whatever cover necessary on your computer to get at the hard drive and make sure any connecting cables are properly seated. If the drive was damaged by the fall you will need to replace it and restore your system.
ser guides are here: http://support.fujitsupc.com/CS/Portal/support.do?srch=GUIDES I didn't see this model listed, so perhaps the number is wrong? If you have an operating system disk, you should be able to reinstaIl by just inserting the disk and following the prompts. checked one model, and that seems to be the method Fujitsu uses.
