My memorex hdmi mirror for android isn't working

Hi,

Once memorex is connected to your tv and you've provided the correct username and password for your hotspot, then everything should work at least at some pace.

Please keep in mind that any type of streaming over mobile data maybe limited based on your mobile plan.

Whereas if you use, home or office based wifi, the streaming should be more fluid.

If still having an issue, please unplug and then plug back your memorex device before trying to connect to wifi again.

Thank you.

I'm trying to get video on my tv from the computer. Nothing works. I have tried fn f5 to switch from computer screen to tv, no good. Is there a switch that turns off external video or fn keys?

What computer (make/model) are you using, what OS and what cable between the devices?

Make sure that the port that you are using to connect the computer and the TV is enabled. This may be in the BIOS.

Make sure the input is set to PC (for VGA) or HDMI on the TV. For the HP laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium, I can enter the Display settings by right clicking on the desktop (anywhere there are no running programs or icons). Then choose Graphics Properties. In that window, I can choose the external monitor, dual monitors or the laptop's screen. Then click Apply and confirm the new display options (on the appropriate monitor).

For my desktop, with Win7 Pro, I start with the old monitor is plugged in (power and data) and turned on as well as the TV (DVI to HDMI) and start the computer. Then by right clicking on the display, choose Screen Resolution and then select the TV and the resolution for that. (Since the tv and the old CRT monitor have different screen resolutions, I do not use the dual monitor mode.) Since I know both graphics adapters are active, if I unplugged the data cable for the old monitor, it would probably find the TV without this step.

Please note that some TVs with HDMI input do not accept a computer signal on the HDMI port. In that case, you would need to use the VGA port or a converter.

I hope this helps. I'll provide additional help if you give specifics about your TV and computer.

My base unit keeps shutting off after about 8 minutes. Sometimes it comes on in a minutes and other times it must be reboot (unplugged.) Is it defective?

I just had the same issue - i've had them for about 18 months and they were working fine with my regular tv set - connected the red/white analog plugs to the back of the tv and then other 3.5mm end to back of base... but now, i just bought an LG hdtv and had to reverse that connection... 3.5mm to the tv and the analogs back to the base... worked ok for about 10 mins then the base shut off... seems that the volume setting on the hdtv wasnt up high enough to "register" with the base - base thought nothing was happening so it automatically shut off for "inactivity" - so, when plugged into tv, I turned the tv volume way up to 100.... seems to have worked - just need to be sure to turn the volume on the tv back down before removing the headphone jack!

88900 Atomic Clock does not read time and temperature.

Batteries must come out of both the temperature sensor (transmitter) and base (clock and temperature display). Leave out for about 4 minutes. Replace the batteries in the temperature sensor FIRST and set it about 5 - 10 feet away from the base. Replace the batteries in the base and leave them both set without touching any buttons for at least 15 minutes (usually only takes 5 minutes or so). The temperature should start to display. You can set the clock manually to the correct time and have it get the updates via radio in the evening or night. Should work after all this just fine. (have done it alot of times this way over the years)

Good luck.

On Screen Clock Display

Without the original remote or a universal remote that does not have a display button, try unplugging the television for at least 2 minutes and plug the tv back in. This should reset the tv display. If the universal remote has a display button, depress the display button until you get the desired display results.

How to get the caller ID to work on the additional GE DECT phone handsets. You must follow these steps in the exact order :
#1 - unplug the base phone
#2 - unplug the telephone line from the base phone
#3 - remove the battery packs from the phones
#4 - wait 10 minutes. reverse the order when assembling. Put battery packs in phones, put the telephone line back in the base phone and lastly plug all phones back in.
It takes about another 10 minutes after that before all phone handsets start recognizing caller ID.
