The following link explains how to troubleshoot a dryer not heat problem:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r630242-dryer_runs_but_not_heat Most dryer heat related problems are attributed to poorly installed, kinked or clogged exhaust vent ducting. Pay particular attention to the section that discusses ventilation and make sure your dryer interior and ducting are clean. Leaving a dryer in a clogged condition will not only decrease the drying efficiency of the appliance, it will also cause repeated failures of any components you may replace and is a fire hazard.

The first thing you need to check is the wall receptacle for the proper input voltage. A reading across the two hot leads (left and right slots) should read 220-240 VAC. If this reading is incorrect, check your breaker panel. Some homes have the dryer circuit on two breakers, vice one single 220 breaker. If the voltage at the receptacle is good, unplug the dryer and remove the cover on the terminal block in the back of the dryer. Plug the dryer back in and take the same voltage check at terminal block across the RED and BLACK wires. You should see 220-240 VAC if good. If the voltage is bad at the terminal block, but good at the wall receptacle, you have a bad power cord. If the voltage is good at the terminal block, then the problem is internal to the dryer.

NOTE: The reason a dryer will still run if the input voltage is incorrect is because the dryer drive motor only uses 110-120 VAC, while the heating circuits require the full 220 service. So, if you are missing a portion of your input voltage, the dryer may exhibit the symptoms you have.

2000 caddy Seville ...after starting and engine warm turn on the heater and it blows cold air. Fan works / waiting for hot air and then all the sudden it kicks in. Engine at normal temp

Low coolant, if there is an air pocket in the engine it will make it to the heater core. Once there , the air coming out is cold/cool. Once the coolant fills the heater core, it gets hot. If the coolant is fine hot or cold, then have the HVAC system scanned.

Why is water accumulating at the base of a newly installed furnace?

Air contains water molecules. Cold air has a lot more than hot air does. When you heated all that cold air the moisture was squeezed out in much the same way water accumulates on the window glass when hot air interfaces with cold.

Check the little pump below the brake booster for running and the coolant valve for movement.

Both hoses to fire wall should be hot.

Check for air lock in system.

Blend doors on this vehicle stop working....common complaint.

To verify Blend door movement, turn on ignition with engine off.

Run temp to max and the min..... listen under glove box for ( sliding ) motor noise as door swings from hot to cold.

This is a digital system needing a Jaguar scanner for diagnosis.

yes, but it's designed to drive the air out as long as you open the cap and run it until it's hot, keeping the radiator full. Eventually the air will come out and heater hoses should get coolant.

During cold weather the engine runs fine but during warm weather the engine dies

Could be a problem with your intake air temp sensor or your coolant temp sensor. The most likely would be the coolant temp sensor. It may be reading cold and will make it run good as the engine is cold but as it warms it is not adjusting the air fuel ration to the proper levels making it run rough hot
