How to alter the stitch on a brother homelock serger 834dp

I tried the Brother website and couldn't find a manual for that model listed. I did find one for a machine, I believe is similar.

Needles that fit a sewing machine will also fit a serger. There are special serger needles but they are expensive and unnecessary. I use the universal types. Your mahine manual should advise.

I wondered if you'd gotten the parts. I have this machine and love it. According to my manual, you need the Rolled hemming stitch presser foot (part #X75592001) and the Rolled hemming stitch needle plate (part #X75873001). Good luck!
