Question about Nintendo DSi Black Console
I have the same problem. I just recently bought two new r4i ultra, but only one of the r4i cartridge works. Both 2GB micro SDHC works on the working cartridge. One of the r4i cartridge isn't recognized at all. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
You should check to see the authenticity of your R4i cards. Typically, the red package (R4i-SDHC original) is real, and the R4i Gold version is also an acceptable alternative which is arguably more future proof:
Make sure you have a decent / original R4i card. Differences in manufacturing techniques could simply mean quality control is poor on the cards you bought, which would explain why one works and one doesn't.
If you're looking for a reliable place to buy real DS cards, I'd recommend www.NDS-Gear.com - mainly because they ship by next day worldwide, but also because they test every single card before sending so you don't get a card that doesn't work. You can also e-mail them questions, even before you buy - and they tend to reply within about a day. I've bought mine from there (they are the third store I've tried but I'm sticking with them!) and several more since for friends and family.
Best of luck!
