Can I buy a printed copy of the Sharp UX 176 phone-fax machine?

Noisy line? is all that strikes true when you ensure me it makes great photocopys, but then you receive OK, very strange, All the mechanisms for doing a local copy is the same as sending a fax the difference is the conversion to phone noise so it has to be electronic, I;d guess lightning/power surge, cant think of much else....sorry

Yes you can Leila. hit the copy/help button without any original paper in the feeder.

Your reception mode is set to TEL/FAX or TEL mode, to set it to automatically receive faxes it should be set to FAX. Look at the LCD display ( right section ).

To change the reception mode you can print the HELP LIST by pressing COPY/HELP button.

If you receive clear copies. Make a test copy. If it come out all black. Yes replace your fax . you have a bad scanner . cheaper to buy a new fax.

There is probably dust under the glass on the mirror...have to remove the glass to wipe the mirror off with a cotton swab, but removing the glass is tricky and very easy to break. Was the first one printed from the fax? I assume that you can receive faxes just fine, but the streaks appear when you copy or send out faxes...

Would be cheaper to replace the fax than repair it.
