Thanks for the input but my driver works fine and i have couple players. My problem is this CD it's got 210 songs on it and it's mp3 however i think the CD is not closed properly or something like that. I can't even explore into the cd it shows empty CD. Other Cd's works fine on my driver. I was thinking software's like CDRoller or something to similar. Any suggestion will be helpful. Thanks again.

I am going to assume that you have a PC running Microsoft Windows OS.

Have you ever tried to play an MP3 file stored on the computer's disk. For example, download the following: Example , by right-clicking that link and selecting to save it to your desktop. Then go to your desktop and double-click it. If it plays, note which application runs it.

If it doesn't, then you may want to install one of dozens of music players you can download and use for free. For example: Windows Media Player or iTunes.

Even if playing a file from your desktop works, it might be good to install a fresh copy of the latest of one of these players.

Next, I would have you load your CD. Note what happens carefully. It may be different once you install a new player. If a dialog pops up and offers to play the CD, then note the name of that application. However, typically they will not offer to play a disk of MP3s because that should be a data disk and not an Audio CD. Tell me how that CD was created. In any case, when that dialog comes up, instead of choosing to play the CD, choose to Explore or Browse. Then copy the files you find on it to your desktop. Now try to double click those files and see if they play. Are they MP3 files? If they are not MP3s, then you probably have an Audio CD and is not well written or your drive is "tired of life." Try another Audio CD that is a commercial product and see if that plays. If so, blame the CD. If it doesn't, then blame the drive. You may be able to update the driver for your drive, but then we are getting much deeper into it than your basic question.

I'd try one of the tools on this page:
    http://www.s2services.com/cdzipandfloppy...
specifically, I would want to first try isobuster:
    http://www.isobuster.com/freeshareware.h...

CDroller seems to be another option that might solve this problem.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

How to put a song without driver

When you connect the MP3 player to yourcomputer with the supplied USB cable then computer detects the player as anexternal storage device or a Removable disk, you can then view the folder onyour MP3 player. Open the music folder and create a new folder on the playerexactly the same way you create a folder on your computer's hard drive. Toorganise your music, make a folder name with the name of the music album andplace the album's MP3 files in this folder, then copy the mp3 files from thecomputer into this folder.

MPEG 4 music wont play??

You will most likely have to convert them to regular mp3 or burn the tracks off the cd again into mp3 format. Try right clicking on a track and go to something that should say convert to, and click on it and select mp3.

Unwanted songs added to play list

You might want to try these suggestions: 1. In folders options, click on the box that will show all hidden files. 2. Be sure to copy the MP3 songs unto a Temp folder that you create only for these MP3's 3. Stop all background running programs, like spyware, anti-virus, firewalls etc. Be sure you are not connected to the Internet (DSL). 4. After all of the above has been accomplished, go ahead and do a Copy and Paste of your MP3 from that newly created Temp folder to your iLo MP3 player. I hope this helps. Restart your computer to get all background running programs running again.
