Question about Apple iPod nano

Ipod has a white screen unable to see anything but yet it plays

My 8 GB ipod nano's (the 3rd generation(the little square one) screen has turned white its been like that for lots of months already maybe almost an year but it still plays. however there is a line going through horizontally a little bit darker than the rest of the screen. it also does not turn off. i have to charge it, wait for it 2 die, and then charge it again. i think the battery is messing up now because of that. because it does not last as long.

SOURCE: Ipod nano 3rd generation and 1st generation nano

The first question I'm not sure. Is that the wireless network system that works with the wall outlets for power and networking?

The answer to the second question is No. You can only transfer playlists from ITunes into the IPod. Make sure your playlists are created in ITues before transferring.

My ipod nano has a white screen and beeps?

Try reseting it, hold down the "Menu" button and the Middle button for about 7-8 seconds. if that doesn't work then try restoring it, plug it into your computer, open iTunes and select your device, now click "Restore." This will take a few minutes.
Hope it helps!

My Ipod 3rd gen. wont work other than when its pluged into the pc

Your battery is most likely dead to the point where it can no longer hold a charge, which is the reason that when you unplug it from the computer, it dies instanly. Batteries are pretty cheap going up to about as high as $25 and if you get it done at a ipod place, installation should not be that much.

My apple ipod nano 8gb 3rd generation's screen went black

It probably hangs on you, right? I get that problem on my silver 3rd gen nano when i jog. What i do is press the menu button and the middle circle button at the same time, and it'll restart the whole thing. Make sure you unlock it (bottom next to charger port, make sure it's white, not red) first. You'll see the apple screen as it starts back up and it'll go to the main menu. I run a lot so maybe it got jarred or something on mine. I hope that's all it is, or it might be a static problem. That I'm not helpful with. :| Good luck.

OH and it won't delete your songs so no worries on that.

Ipod nano 8GB 3rd generation FROZEN!

First make sure your hold switch isn't on. It's on the top or bottom and slides back and forth. It needs to be switched to the left. Once it is to the left, here's how you reset:

You can reset your ipod by holding down the menu and select (round button in the center) buttons down for at least 10 seconds. You'll see an apple logo flash, that's when you stop pressing the buttons. It will shut off, then back on.
