Outlook 2013's IMAP implementation has changed quite dramatically when compared to previous versions of Outlook and has remained mostly the same in Outlook 2016. While it does do a better job at getting the special folders correct more often, there sadly is no more option to change it manually in case Outlook gets it wrong. When Outlook 2013 or Outlook 2016 can't find the correct folder for the Sent Items or Deleted Items folder, it will create a folder within your mailbox which doesn't sync with the mail server. ahhhh ok you want to access your Sent mail folder and contacts which you used when you used Outlook Web Access(OWA) "outlook through web mail" to connect to your Office Exchange mail server
in order to get this you have to configure Outlook 2007 to connect to exchange server. Do the following steps
if you are running outlook close it as you can not configure exchange accounts when it is running
if you are running vista, xp or 7 click on the start menu and right click on email and go to properties
click on email accounts
select "view or change existing accounts" click next
click on any of the previously configured accounts and remove them
click add
select microsoft exchange server click next
type name of the exchange server (you must get this from your administrator) and type in your username (name which you used to use through web mail) click on next
click on finish
open outlook 2007 and you should see all your previous contacts and sent items
you can remove your outlook account and create again your problem must be solve. Remember before removing your outlook account you must take backup of your outlook, i.e. account backup, and all the messages. If you don't know how you will take backup please feel free to know me I will tell you.

MS Office Outlook 2003 will only show those e-mails in the sent items folder that were sent using the e-mail client application (i.e. MS Office Outlook 2003).
Any messages sent from the server itself wil not display.
