I finally got back to my treadmill. I raised the deck and lubricated the tread. Then started it up and it went to ground as it should. Then ran calibration and it appears to be working again. No idea why raising the deck caused the machine to be able to go down again. Now I have to reset the speed sensor as I have it a little too close and it ticks occasionally while jogging.
follow this steps and fix it. God bless you Power Supply
An inadequate power supply limits a Sole treadmill's speed
to 7 mph, even though the display may say it is going faster. Plug the
treadmill directly into an outlet without using an extension cord for
best performance. If this is not possible, Sole recommends using a short
16 gauge minimum cord.
Belt Too Tight
A walking belt that is too loose will slip and one that is
too tight runs slowly. Adjust the tension by inserting a 6 mm Allen
wrench into the hole in the right end cap at the back of the deck. This
gives you access to the tension bolt. Turn the wrench counterclockwise
no more than a 1/4 turn at a time to decrease tension or the opposite
way to increase tension. Do not tighten more than necessary to eliminate
slippage of the belt on the front roller. You must also then adjust for
tracking due to increased belt tension by turning both tracking bolts
on each side of the end of the rail 1/4 at a time.
Belt Lubrication
Sole treadmill belts come pre-lubricated, but after the
first 50 hours of use you will need to lubricate the machine again. Use
only lubricant sold by Sole. The treadmill can go for another 1,000
hours of use before another lubrication if it is cleaned regularly. If
the belt is running slow and you have done everything else, it may be
that your belt is ready ahead of schedule. Spread an entire tube
width-wise across the center of the deck. The place where your feet hit
when walking or running is the ideal location for the lubricant.
If the calibration does not pass you may need to check the speed sensoralignment. You must understand the instruction for calibration is under the hood for motor. 1) Remove the motor cover hood by loosening the 4 screws that hold it inplace (you do not need toremove them completely).2) The speed sensor is located on the left side of the frame, right nextto the front roller pulley (thepulley will have a belt around it that also goes to the motor). Thespeed sensor is small and blackwith a wire connected to it.3) Make sure the sensor is as close as possible to the pulley withouttouching it. You will see a magneton the face of the pulley; make sure the sensor is aligned with themagnet. There is a screw thatholds the sensor in place that needs to be loosened to adjust thesensor. Re-tighten the screw whenfinished.
2) if the problem persist you must Test the main motor for open, ground 3) the main control board faulty. See the block diagram that I did as person like you that understand that 90% of functions the main motor controller board has effect.
