Question about Cell Phones
This phone is set up by default by the manufacturer to transfer only Music files via a USB cable to a computer. This makes it awkward to use for photos which is a bit of a let down as there is no memory card either that you can use to do this.
There are however two ways around this;
1) You can email the photo to your email address and then open it with your computer from there.
2) If you intend to use the phone regularly to transfer photos to your computer you will need to download software to manipulate the default settings on the phone to allow you to use the USB cable.
There is a freeware program called BitPim which you can use to do this - however I would stress that you use this program at your own risk. You need to follow the instructions with this program very carefully and you may also have to download Samsung drivers to get it to work.
The link to this program is here http://www.bitpim.org/
If it is the case that this is a one off photo you want on your computer the simplest method is to email it to your own email. The BitPim program is very good and its also free but is a more complicated process and is only worth it if you want to transfer photos from this phone on a regular basis.
Hope this helps. Please remember to rate my answer. Many thanks for using FixYa.
