SOURCE: Hi! My hot water taps from the wash hand basin and

In a word no. Combi boilers work on balanced pressure.ie the mains cold supply to the boiler should be around 1 bar minimum which would give a hot water pressure of the same 1 bar. Assuming the cold water pressure is fine, it sounds like you have a restricted flow on the hot side. If you live in an area with water problems the hot water systems pipework calcify over time effectively reducing water flow. Unless any flexi hoses are kinked, check if there are any filters in the appliances that may be blocked. Also check all valves are fully open and if possible check if there are any restrictions at the valves. Failing all that and the taps are in good order it is possible to fit a pump before the boiler but this may only be a temporary fix overall.

SOURCE: Im not getting any pressure (other than hose

Your problem is going to be with the brass fitting with the spring that you have discribed. This fitting is called an unloader valve, this valve is designed to by-pass the pressure that the pump has built up so you don't damage the pump when you release the trigger. There should be a nut on the end of this valve try turning it in some if this doesn't work try turning it out. It is usually set at the factory but sometimes they either don't get set or they are bad. You also could try to remove and clean. re-install with a light coat of white lithium grease. Hope this helps, let me know how you make out.

I have a flojet pump model #2100-848 used on a 20 gallon sprayer...just hooked up the sprayer after sitting all year and the pressure went all the way up past 100psi and blew the fuse...any ideas?

Nozzles are plugged? Remove nozzles, clear lines, nozzles and screens.

If still a problem, rinse tank and fill with a few gallons of water. Find a convenient point to disconnect pump outlet side from all nozzles. Try pump, if same problem, keep opening connections closer to pump outlet until blockage is cleared.

Just installed a MQ 3 -35 in my home in order to improve low city supplied water pressure (35psi). Now my home pressure is at 75 to 80 psi, too high. How can I regulate the pressure down to 55-60 ps

proper way is to install a water pressure regulator and due to potability reasons it needs to be brass ,bronze, stainless steel, or CPVC plastic , (no steel or cast metal) of course the less high tech way is to plumb a valve from pump outlet back to its inlet and adjust valve to max pressure setting you want at max demand , I don't recommend this method as it wont be able to give you a constant pressure regardless of demand as the first method will , Note: some water regulators are a "relieving" type and require special install methods and maybe three lines to it

Monsoon 3 bar shower pump failure ,where is bleed valve just humming noise

Open and close all outlets in turn associated with the pump, (including w/c systems) allowing water to flow from each outlet until all air is purged. As each outlet is opened and closed, the pump will start and stop respectively.
Note: After closing the outlet there will be a small delay time before the pump stops, which is normal.
Also check the pressure vessel attached to the pump and make sure it is at pressure with a pressure gauge.

My Karcher KB 9030 has lost pressure and is hunting when no demand water supply is plenty

In most cases the water lines can have leaks that bring bring in air and so the pressure will be less. Power off the washer and let the water flow without any air bubbles. If you seen bubbles then recheck the joints.Check the same with the outlet.
If not there is fault on the main pressure pump.

Changing out electical outlet

If this is United States standard wiring, newer homes are REQUIRED to have a 4-wire outlet according to the National Electrical Code. If you own a home with this type outlet configuration, its actually illegal to remove it and convert to the 3-wire configuration. Changing the power cord on the appliance is actually an easier option and less expensive (not to mention, you won't be violating any electrical codes). The following link explains how:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r793520-3_prong_4_prong_power_cord_conversion

The main difference is how the Neutral (White) and Ground (Green) wires are installed. In a 4-wire configuration, the neutral and ground are independent of each other. Make sure you remove any grounding straps on the terminal block between the ground and neutral.

NOTE: A replacement power cord can be purchased at any hardware store for $20 or less. The cost to have a Certified Electrician install a new outlet for you (if they would) will easily exceed that.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

Prime the pump well by connecting the water and letting it run for several minutes to get all traces of air out of the pump.

I have a replacement wirlpool tub. Model Model 2771L.020. I have checked the circuits and outlet everything is fine. When I turn push the on button nothing happens.....Can their be a reset button on the...

Is the switch connected to the pump?  I have had a few tubs that I have installed where the air line (the switch operates by air pressure) has become disconnected from the pump.  Just slide it back on and secure with a zip-tie.  There might also be a safety switch on the pump that needs to be pushed or the GFI on the wall outlet has been tripped.
