Press the foot lever to open the upright fully. The flexible suction hose that stretches when you open the handle gets damaged and will need repaired or replaced. I usualy take the clamps off, cut off the damage and re-fasten up higher. Dale.

Bissell 9500 ProHeat, Why is it leaking water from the dry air vent?

The only thing I have seen cause anything like this is a high suds level in the waste water container. Usually caused by using pre cleaners on spots on the fabric. Those pr-ecleaners, i.e. Resolve, etc. create a LOT of excess suds in the waste water that can be sucked up in places they shouldn't be.

Check the filters. User's Guide has locations. one under water tank cap one under Flow Indicator. They are small but need to be cleaned after each use.

No dispensing of water from container.

Check the bottom of the tank, there should be a gasket on the valve at the bottom of the tank. Must be on the tank and not sitting in the hole. Make sure the tank is sitting firmly and not off set even a little. Loosen the cap for the flow indictor while running, then tight when fluid starts leaking out, stop when the spinner starts spinning. Other then that you may have a clogged line somewhere.

Water leaking out from bottom of 7901

That part can go bad, but I have found more often the a water line came loose. Take out the 6 screw and the flow indictor cap, remove the top, then inspect that area. If you find what the problem is, fix it then when you put the top back on, make sure the piston is on the bottom of the smart mix valve and that the knob is in the water only spot, then push the top back on. If you need to replace the auto-load receiver, the part # is 2140710 and you can order from a local repair shop.
