Question about InFocus LP70+ Multimedia Projector
The projector intermittently projects an "all green image". No other colors. Not every time, and sometimes a reboot fixes it - Should I do a factory reset on the service menu - or is this a lamp at the end of it's life.
Any help would be appreciated
A tinted image (whether green or another color) is almost always a symptom of a bad or damaged cable - or a loos cable connection. In your case, you'll likely need a new M1 to VGA cable (Part# SP-DVI-A-R).
Assuming that you've made sure that the cable connections are solid at both ends, there is a simple test to verify that this is a cable issue and not a costly projector issue. While the image is tinted green, open the menu. If the menu colors appear fine while the rest of the image is still tinted green it's the cable.

How to set my LP70 into Flash mode?
Posted on Dec 21, 2007
Tips for a great answer:
After turning on the projector, press "+" and "-" buttons on the control panel
simultaneously for 3 seconds and release the buttons when screen goes blank.
2 Press "+" and "-" buttons again to exit the diagnostic mode.
3While in Self-diagnostic mode, the screen will run a seven-color-cycle test as
Red--> Green--> Blue--> White--> Watchet Blue--> Dark Green--> Yellow.
Ensure that the colors of the test pattern are correct. Contact Dell if the colors are
not displayed correctly.
