2000 jeep grand cherokee wiring diagram

You have to cut the factory speaker wires on both sides of the amp and solder them together.(bypass the amp) Pull out the factory radio so you can identify the color of the speaker wires or look at the wire colors on the back of the factory speakers.

I have a fujitsu am/fm/cd/ tape player out of a 93 camry and would like to put it in a 95 camry but the color code for the wiring doesn't match and thats what I need , can you help Thanks John

Hello jrhauber,

The '93 and '95 Camry have identical color codes. Likewise, the vehicle harness connectors are the same.

Car Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Blue/Yellow
Car Radio Ignition Switched 12V+ Wire: Gray
Car Radio Ground Wire: Brown
Car Stereo Illumination Wire: Green
Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: N/A
Car Stereo Antenna Trigger Wire: Black/Red
Car Stereo Amplifier Trigger Wire: N/A
Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Pink
Left Front Speaker Wire (-): Purple
Right Front Speaker Wire (+): Light Green
Right Front Speaker Wire (-): Blue
Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Black
Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Yellow
Right Rear Speaker Wire (+): Red
Right Rear Speaker Wire (-): White

You can purchase an aftermarket wiring harness that plugs into the OEM radio. The part number you need for a 1995 Camry is Metra 71-1761 available here for $9.99.

Hope this helps.

Boss amp turns off sometimes

There must be some bad solder connections in the amp. You will need a soldering iron and some solder. Plus the skill to use them so you do not cause much more damage to the amp. It is very easy to bridge a solder joint to a close by solder joint and cause a short in the circuit and can be very danergous, even cause the amp to catch fire. If you bridge any solder joints and then power the amp on, you may very well destroy the amp beyond being able to repair it by anybody. So if you are not sure of how good you may be able to solder the board, please just take it to a service center and have them check it out for you. If it is just some broken solder connections they should be able to repair it fairly cheap. Most shops charge about $65 for this type of repair, but not all repair shjops are priced the same, so you would need to check it out first.

It is very common, for car audio especially, to get cracked or broken solder joints due to the nature of them. They get bounced around a bit even when installed properly. Every time you hit a bump in the road the amp gets a little jolt.

If your amp had anything else besides the bad connections, it would not play OK after shaking it.

If you need any further help let me know.

My sub quit working

first off you should have installed an inline fuse block that fuse will pop first an inline fuse is cheap go to a wall=mart it will run you around 10.00 that gets mounted under your hood cut your power cable in half the one part of the cable should be cut 12 inches that will tie into your possitive terminal on your battery after that is all tightened to your battery you will strip about an inch of coating offf of your power wire tie that into the end of your fuse block make sure it is tight than do the same to the other side just measure from there to your mounting spot for your amplifier and tie your power cable into your amplifier use 8 gauge power and ground cable... your problem with your amp is that you burned up a couple capasitors or even a resistor i just fixed an amp that both fuses were smoked just tear your amp apart look under the control board you will see were a sauder joint is cracked those capasitors and resisters are very cheap there made out of ceramic i just got done repairing my friends amp works like a new one.. good luck if you have problems or w you get it fixed email me.. best of luck buddy..

Ix406 front speaker distortion at all frequencies

Repair- "No". But make sure the power line is not running next to the RF speaker line nor the line in to amp more then a few inches to a foot. Often can cause distortion regardless.

Jeep cherokee infinity amplifier

yes, you have a few options. Chances are, its your amp.
1st I would test the speakers - find the amp under the back seat, then test which wires go to the front speakers and use a AA battery to check if the speaker pops with those two wires and the battery.  If it does pop, its your amp needing replaced.  You can switch out that infinity amp for an aftermarket one very easy. Just use a testlight, or voltmeter to test the wires, and switch them to a new 4-channel amp.
if you need the wiring diagram, let me know...and dont forget to rate me! or ask for more help!

Nirto bmw-486 Tech Specs

Generally, this type of amp is relatively simple to repair if you're capable of replacing the blown parts. If you can find the web site for Nitro, you may be able to get a schematic. I couldn't find their site.

What troubleshooting have you done?

What parts are blown?

If you need help troubleshooting, I'd need a photo of the inside of the amplifier.
