Thermal fuse is a transformer 120 VAC input. Numbers on Tx TT048070116A-E, AND 084-300i0200. Unable to get replacement. Can I find what the output is so I can make a replacement. If I had a schematic I could get set going again.

Call the following number and they should be able to send you a new replacement fuse for the system
1-818-767-2843 Ext. 117

It is customer service for the manufacturer since unfortunately we don't have a manual on hand. Let me know how this turns out.

Use an ohmmeter and it will tell you the readings.

The output voltage is 101 volt between la y n, I expeccted 120 volt

There`s two configurations that you need to check.
On UPS display, what voltaje is showing as output voltage?
There`s a chance that it is configured to 200 vac, then the transformer module will convert this to 100/200 vac.
If this is not the situation, probably the error is in the input connection of transformer module.

I need to replace the transformer inside my 12 volt charger. I can not find who makes the ES -66-287rev5 transformer. Need help.

If you have the skill to determine the transformer input is open, I would expect you have the skill to replace a transformer. Based on this assumption: determine the input voltage (120 vac?), determine the output voltage (14 vac?), determine the power requirements (output voltage times the charging current), find a transformer at www.digikey.com or www.mouser.com or www.newark.com.

I have some outdoor landscape lights that were working fine until a few days ago. The 120 vac power goes into the first transformer, and then out, and into a second, then a third, then a fourth, and...

Hi, to isolate the faulty transformer, one need to obtain a Multimeter and set it to Volts AC, then going to the Output of each transformer & see if there is the required 12V there. The one that's NOT providing an output is the faulty one.
In these setups you are correct there is little else it can be. However check at the connections to the lights also, see if there is Voltage there too.
A transformer will have the 120 V AC on the Primary, INPUT side, and 12 V AC on the Secondary OUTPUT side.
Try testing right on the transformers terminals. Also remove the "Load" too when making measurements as if there is a short etc, then that may give a false reading. Always measure Voltages first with NO load, then test again with the Load, they should both be the same, if NOT then you have a fault NOT in the transformer but elsewhere in the circuit.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

I have to agree with you that that component is a thermal fuse. In my country, they are readily available in most electronics/hobbyist parts store. These components are also used for small motors and therefore would also be available in some (but not all) kitchen appliances parts stores. A temporary workaround is to install an ordinary fast blow fuse.

Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.

How do I replace a damaged power supply transformer on a DN-600F ?

Hello there. i'll suggest you one quick solution but it maybe dangerous!(Do it the greek way :P) try to remove the transformer from the machine. Take one Ohm meter and measure the resistance of the 120 vac coil. IF THERE IS NOT ANY (i mean that the ohm meter shows nothing diferent than not using it) get a paper blade and start removing the paper cover that it has rounded from the place where the 120 vac wires goes. you will see there that there is a mini thermal fuse.short circuit the thermal fuse and try to measure again the resistance of the 120 vac coil. if you see something between 40 and 80 ohms you are ok. Now that you haven't got any thermal fuse on your transformer just increase your security putting on a 300 mA fuse at the 120vac coil. I have done it with many hard to find transformers and it worked for me.Just be sure that when you plug it on, you will not touch it because i don't know if you are gonna do it right.ok? (say ok!) That was the second solution to your problem. The first and the safest is to go to your local dealer and order a new transformer.
